Tuxedo Rentals

Al Dixon's sells and rents tuxedo's for weddings, proms or any special event.  It's best if you come in and visit our store located in beautiful downtown Thomasville, Georgia to get measured and fitted.  We want you to look your very best on your special day.  We have a full-time formal wear experts and an onsite alterations department to ensure that everything fits the way it should.  

How Do You Rent a Tuxedo?   It's as easy as 1,2,3.....

  1. Select your style and color.  You can go to www.jimsformalwear.com and browse the different styles and colors available.  You can use the "Build-A-Tux" program to put together your complete look in advance. 
  2. Come in and get fitted by one of our formal wear experts.  This will ensure that you get the prefect fit.
  3. Place your order at least 2 weeks prior to your event.  You will be required to pay a 50% deposit before your order can be called in and reserved.

When Should You Place Your Order?

Al Dixon's requires that you order your tux at least two weeks prior to your event, but the sooner you get your order placed.... the better, especially during peak rental season (prom and wedding season).  The sooner your place your order the better chance you have to get the tux and color you want.  Additional shipping charges will apply for any orders placed after the order deadline.

How Much Does It Cost to Rent a Tux?

Tux rentals include:  Coat, Pants, Vest, Tie or bow-tie/cummerbunds, and shoes.  Prices start at $160.  We require a credit or debit card with a 50% deposit at the time you place the order.  You will be charged the balance at pick up.  

When Can I Pick Up My Tux?

Tuxes generally arrive on Tuesday afternoon prior to your event. An Al Dixon's representative will call you once your tux has arrived to arrange a time for you to come in for your final fitting.

When Is My Tux Due Back?

All tux rentals are due back the Monday following your event.  

Damage & Late Fees:

Your credit or debit card on file for your security deposit, will be charged $30.00 per day late fee for all tuxes not returned by noon Tuesday following your event. You are responsible for all damages.  The repair or replacement cost will also be charged to your credit or debit card on file.

What is the Deadline to Cancel My Order?

You must cancel your tux order at least 7 days prior to your event in order to get your deposit back.  Your refund will be credited to your debit or credit card on file.
